I guess that's what Toady One was online about, I thought it was over the (short lived) spat that happened in the AmeriPol thread.

The other one was a pretty lame joke I guess, but I didn't think it was that bad. Maybe the creator was secretly a spambot... his one reply (that I saw) did seem pretty generic. Or perhaps Toady just didn't approve of such a joke to begin with.

Even though cute is often linked to infantilism, those same traits also couple well with sexiness.

I read the news today. Big mistake. Seems everyone is pissed about everything and at everyone and every story.

Blame. It's all blame. No solutions; just blame. It's all seemingly become identity politics with both sides hating each other, pouring gasoline on the fire burning them both. The equality narrative has been replaced with mutually assured destruction via insults. It's now a "with me or against me" mentality on both sides of seemingly every issue to the point where people don't want their kids to see romantic partners of the opposite political party, and if you don't agree with either the "multicultural" or "America first" narrative, then you're just screwed, because each side of the coin has become militant. Morbidly interestingly, each side doesn't realize their actions are fueling the other; for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Somehow, the conservatives don't realize they are fanning the liberal flames they don't like, and in the same breath, the liberals don't realize they are the reason behind Donald Trump's power base. It's all a great big feedback loop of backlash. Who needs an ICBM when lines of race and politics will destroy far easier, cheaper, and more devastatingly?

I remember people saying George Bush was the worst president ever.... Now.... With no compromise option and the trend towards increasing politician radicalization and each switch of party power bringing a more militantly radical politician, things could get difficult.

If Bush lead to Obama's election, which pissed off conservatives and lead to Trump's election, then who will Trump's election piss off liberals into electing? See the increasingly spiraling pendulum swinging here?

Everyone has gone insane, and I wish people would get along. That's all I'm saying.

Same with inferences in Psychology
Basically a medium, widespread, and of common usage, plus a lack of support on the receiving side (lack of support = attitude awareness or openness of the view's of the person + a 'perceived hostility', what with the openness of the internet and a somewhat lack of formalized guidance) makes a lot of exposure which is available on the internet narrowed down to a pseudo-consumerism of information. Also the depersonalization of speakers into words and ideas--the lack of cultural and traditional norms in communication [swearing at other people or their ideas, and the general boisterousness when an idea is 'read' in only one way to generate a following reaction; nevermind the receiver's age or otherwise that would modify how people speak to each other or awareness of their response unless input back online]

However this also denotes several skills in understanding too, for a positive note. It's like a somewhat more definitive "skill" of 'you can tell [their awareness] by observing their personality or how they react'.
As the internet is like a metaphor to a book to be read. A lot of content, but what's seen is what affects you.

It's often the minority of the populace that produces the most of things affecting others in a bad way, and it's moreso the behavior than the people. Lots of people get along...but that may not be trending in the news.

But from a person on the other-side-of-the-world viewpoint on American stuff? There's somehow a ton more labeling going around, and I'm wondering why that makes sense.
