Roasting human flesh smells like bacon

Human flesh is closest, texture and flavor-wise, to pig flesh. Mythbusters uses dead pigs for a lot of experiments for this reason. The only thing more accurate that isn't human flesh, is ballistics gel over a human skeleton.

Fun fact, human meat is called long pork or sweet pork, because we taste a lot like pigs, but sweeter (because of the high consumption of sugars). So human bacon would probably be fucking delicious.

I've had applewood smoked bacon, which did have a slightly sweet flavor to it.

Sweet and salty go pretty well together.
Take for instance grilled bone-ham in honey-mustard sauce. Can recommend.

My grandfather (were he still alive) would confirm that human flesh tastes like pork. I remember hearing about that growing up.

Since it is possible nowadays to have a pig grow human organs inside it, using stemcell transplantation, I guess we're only a few crazy investors away from serving human bacon that did not involve humans dying.

Also honestly when that technology's available I would be too busy eating so much frog meat.

My hair is normally an uncontrollable curly mess that extends from my head horizontally as much as vertically. However, since I blow dried it and it's been tied up all day, it's lying perfectly flat and smooth now. I cannot describe how weird this feels, I don't even recognize myself in the mirror.
