It just occurred to me that the "until death us part" bit of a marriage vows, implies that the marriage could be a murder-suicide pact.

The exact phrase is "until death do us part", which means that it last until you're separated by one of you dying. "Until death us part" sounds like you're separating until you die, after which I guess you spend the eternity of the afterlife together.

Now I wonder, if the same marriage vows exist in a universe in which resurrection is possible, not necessarily easy, but possible(like D&D or similar), does the death of one partner nullify the marriage, even after resurrection?
