Ah yes wrapping it in a condom and shoving it directly into the ear canal was a direct improvement.  Esp the part where you have to do that 10 times a minute because they don't stay in the ear canal, almost like things aren't supposed to be there.

Solution**:

Step 1) Peel off the "condom".
Step 2) Gently powder the ear with baby powder.
Step 3) knead a small ball of sugru, to get it ready. (choice of colors!)
Step 4) mold sugru ball around the earbud piece.
Step 5) gently insert the molded earbud into the powdered "ear crevice", and wait about 5 to 10 minutes. (basically, just use the damn buds for a while.)

The baby powder will assure that the sugru does not stick to your ears, and unmolds easily.  You will then have a custom fit earbud, in your choice of color.


**Not responsible if you somehow manage to screw this up and end up needing to get the sugru mechanically removed by a physician.
