The Habanero is my favorite mild chilli, and I strongly suggest rubbing it all over your body.

It's exfoliating properties are second only to elemental chlorine.

Personally, I prefer FOOF when I exfoliate.

Randomly, just saw the preview for "The Thinning"

You know what I want to see? A movie about a series of colony ships.
Humanity 2040, earth is unsustainable, a bunch of first world countries desperately attempted to make last-minute generation ships they didn't have the technology for, which aren't structurally capable because our materials aren't good enough.

The solar panels are modern technology and therefore both prohibitively expensive and short-lived, and the best example of electric engines are tiny microwave emitters which can make course changes only over tens of thousands of kilometres leaving these thrown darts at the mercy of stray asteroids.

The whole story revolves around an engineering team continually making 'spit and glue' repairs in a horrific survival scenario where entire sections breach with zero warning whatsoever and they successively lose contact with the ships full of other dead races as they run up into planets or antimatter pockets and they are fatalistically attempting to survive less due to any vain hope of recolonisation and more as some kind of frantic effort to keep the human race alive.

Spoiler ending: they all die

You should read Seveneves by Neal Stephenson.

About one nanogram jalapeņo juice, applied directly to the genitals or eyes

You should read Seveneves by Neal Stephenson.
Just checked out the synopsis and that's a killer recommendation.
Lovely and dismal view of humans as a species.

Perception of capsaicin is highly subjective, and as such this question has no answer.

I'm curious for what purpose you are intending to discover how to recreate the sensation of fire. It's not like the sensation of giving birth or whatever, anyone (and everyone) can discover the sensation of fire for themselves.

But we're talking about these things, I assume:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Ye. Them's delicious. I mostly eat the red ones, are the green and yellow varieties hotter?
Generally I only have those in meals (probably burritos) that involve heaps of other stuff, so it's hard to tell.

No... No... Bell peppers are not hot at all. Aside from the sixteen year old labrador retriever owned by your grandmother, they're the mildest pepper. They are sweet peppers.
Yeeeah, they're literally mutants with *no* capsaicin in them at all. No way for them to BE hot.
And the colour makes them sweeter. The redder it is, the sweeter it is. It's because the red ones are the ripe ones.
