Is it possible for a Rimworld player to join a Dwarf Fortress discussion without saying "you should buy Rimworld"? Because it's starting to seem that it's not.

And every time I say this I feel like I'm overreacting, and people tell me I'm overreacting, but it really is constant. If any dwarf fortress dialogue starts in a non-dwarf-fortress-centered discussion place and a Rimworld player is there, they always feel like they have to say something.

Isn't the premise of Red Dwarf something like "a space janitor wakes up on a space station after being frozen in space-sleep and finds out he is the only human left alive without any hope of reaching humanity within his lifetime and with only a hologram person and a cat for company"?

...It doesn't sound like the greatest basis for a campaign.

With the VR tech improving I wonder if there will be studies on whether or not use of VR actually affects the development of your child.

Like if they use VR headsets at age 2 if it will make them worse at telling the real world apart.

I tried loading XP from a usb but its not doing it?  Thats how I Virtual Machine, right?

I managed to get it dual-booted.

But now Im having issues with setting up the wifi.  I dont think Ive ever hooked my laptop up to a lan -> and Im not gonna start now.  So wifi -> xp, gotta happen.
