Did my taxes online.   WhileI usually don't have any trouble I had an unusual situation this year and needed to ask for help on it.

Turbotax has a convienient FAQ thing, that had answered everything previously,  but this time I had to use the little ask a question thing thanks to some extra income I needed to enter.  It seems that just creates a forum post.

Once I entered that in it took me to my post on their forum.  Where I saw nearly half a dozen posts of others asking the same question and getting the same exasperated answers from the other forumites.   Maybe it should.... yakknow... give me a link to that forum somewhere so I can see if someone answered that question already instead of going straight to creating a new post from the main site?

It probably works like those discussion threads on steam support threads on games not starting or having weird bugs and the devs just kinda don't do anything and half expect the players themselves to come up with a solution :U

I thought that cyber security was strictly the procedures implimented to prevent unauthorized or malicious access of a network/server/DONTTOUCHMYCOMPUTERTERMINAL

Eh, fairly major organizational figures have come out in the U.S. saying stuff like encryption is a threat to national security. So cybersecurity is indeed that, but there's government officials that are openly opposed to it, stateside. Probably just odd wording and intending to mean discussing threats related to the subject, but it's more possible than it should be it's actually talking about discussing cybersecurity as a threat in and of itself.

Yes, it reveals a staggeringly empty understanding of how computers and the net works, but that doesn't much discourage some folks.
