I remember, on my first day of drama class, the teacher literally could not control the class and yet somehow managed to get us all to sit down and just be silent for the last 30 minutes of class. No punitive activity or worksheet or anything, just sit quietly until the bell rings you little shits.

Most of the people in that class were shitheads though, and taking it because they knew the teacher couldn't control the class so they could fuck around and talk with their friends. Most students got A's and B's.

Ironically, you did get drama in the Drama class. lol

Donald MacKenzie's Teutonic Myth and Legend is truly excellent, if occasionally racist. I don't know if you'll be able to find it anywhere though, since my edition predates publishers putting legalese in the book, so I have no idea when it was published other than probably after 1900 (but I don't recall the sister volumes mentioning archaeologists past about then).

If you can find it, though, it's marvellous.

That seems terribly unmanageable. If you do have four hours to spare, I suppose it could be rather pleasant, but if you do not, well... I can just imagine the embarrassment in having to leave for work in that state. It would be a very uncomfortable trip to the office and people would likely comment.

I suppose that whatever tonic they are trying to sell is only meant for weekend usage. Even so, four hours is an awfully long time. Perhaps not, if one were a true enthusiast, but still.

When I did briefly sail with shields down (as it were) on Youtube once, I recieved a strange advert that seemed to be the logical conclusion of those Evony adverts ("Play now, my Lord", she whispered on trembling lips, no doubt). It was an elf of some description in lingerie, and the stark black-and-white hazard text promised it to be a "Filthy roleplaying game, banned for children". It was very odd. I cannot recall giving any particular indications towards wanting for such a thing.

Went and got vaccinated against yellow fever two days ago. It was hell because there was a single nurse for over a hundred people and it was stupid hot. Now I learn that it ran out in this city, so I got lucky. WTF is that I got immunized because I'll be going on a trip in about a week, while the last case of urban yellow fever in the entirety of national territory (so a huge, huge area) was about 60 years ago, so I have no idea why there are so many people after it.
