PC Speaker was a huge step down from the SID chip in the C64/128.

SB16 was pretty cool though. My dad got one of those for his 486 which we played DOS games on.

That is because the C64 was developed from hardware used in arcade machines, and the developers (much like Wozniak, who wanted every Apple ][ to be able to play the hit arcade game he had designed not long before) intended gaming to be a function of the machine.

The IBM-PC was, as the company initialism suggests, a business machine, and was optimized for text manipulation (hence the very high-res (for the era) text mode and the choice of revolting but distinguishable colors for the Color Graphics Adapter that was intended to aid in graphing data), and the PC speaker wasn't intended for anything other than data beeps.

It's like -30c and my train was an hour late, and obviously has broken heating (which might not be as bad as its known that interiors of polish trains are either Sahara hot or Arctic cold, and the latter at least doesn't kill you with temperature shock) It was almost as cold as my dead heart. For about five hours it was snowing. Got 2-3 inches more on top of everything. Then it rained for a while. Warm enough it didn't freeze for a while. Then the rain grew cold enough it would freeze on contact and finally were being pelted by little tiny bits of hail.

So nature got drunk again. Yay.

Why bother exporting? I would assume most cultures that possess lemons would likewise possess sweetened lemon juice. Its like two steps from juicy fruit to fruity juice.
