I have come to the realization that once self-driving cars become the norm on the road,  people having sex in their cars while on the road is gonna become an oft-spotted Thing you see.

I'm thinking that once driverless cars become widespread, at least some countries will insist on making manufacturers implement some sort of remote shutdown or tracking mechanism for their police forces to use.
Don't see what the problem with falling asleep is, though.

I mean, if the police try to stop the car for some reason and realize the driver ("responsible passenger"?) is not responding.

The solution will probably be some kind of override, but then you need to deal with unauthorized use of the override...

Our pet dog can now grab my mother's shoes on command, and seems to have a fair grasp of the timing of when the newspaper comes in.
What's weird is that we never taught him this, best I can tell he figured this out through context clues, guess all that dog karma my mom built up let us get lucky.

Really the most useful thing our dog does is bark at the door when the mailtruck goes by, which is somewhat useful since our mailtruck seems to think schedules are overrated and we get our mail anytime from 9 am to 8 pm seemingly at random.

That and she looks and barks like a pitbull while being terrified of the cat.  So she's like a dog version of one of those signs that advertise a home security system when the sign itself is the entire system.

Well, if somebody dies in a manual car, they'll either crash or just stop in the middle of the road, causing a hazard. If somebody's being an idiot or doing something illegal, then the cops start chasing them and they speed and go through neighborhoods and probably end up hitting peds/other cars/property.

I hardly see how "waiting for the car to stop" is worse than what we have now.
