The guy who still insists he's my boyfriend was showing off pictures of swimsuited figurines this morning, which is cool.  Some of them look pretty and I'm in no place to judge!  But then he commented on how much he loves *natural* looking breasts...  With an example where the breasts are not only larger than usual even for an anime bimbo, but also magically supporting a spherical shape in a way that only fake ones even approximate.

Oh man. That is some epic-level cluelessness.

Personal thoughts that nobody cares about: I don't find comically large breasts attractive, whether they defy gravity or not. But for me too, breasts that defy gravity* are the most attractive, whether they're augmented or not, which is to say sagging breasts turns me off, generally (the one exception is someone who is incredibly horny, which is so attractive that it seems to override almost everything else).

* I blame video games and bras, but not in that order. I still find small breasts very attractive, though.

Is this something that you have to be offended about? I am in no place to know what kind of relationship you have with your boyfriend, but like... a real person's set of sexual preferences is larger than whatever their SO has at the current moment, right? 'S like... maybe he's bi and likes girls with big boobs, but obviously he also likes you since he wouldn't be your boyfriend otherwise? Maybe I'm just reading the whole situation wrong again.

The mental image of a dude drooling over big boobs and then doing a double take at his boyfriend is kinda funny, though.

It's really not a good relationship, we're just both lonely.  What's really crazy is that we've been in this thing for... 5 years now?  6?  I keep trying to end it, but we're both *really* lonely and lazy.

Hell, it may be irrelevant even if you're right. Protestant churches, particularly if they're stateside, can only loosely be relied upon to be anything particularly close to whatever denomination they're claiming that day. Usually at best you'll see a degree of regional coherency, but often enough things can be radically different between individual congregations even if they're claiming the same denomination. _{and that's not even getting into the churches that fracture over social conflict of one sort or another, which can lead to two churches that have the same stated beliefs but practice them differently or have very substantial differences in which set of mores is emphasized or not, and on, and on, and on protestant churches ain't like mcdonalds, never mind the other side of the country you be getting a different hamburger if you walk down the street}

Well, honestly I have no idea what the hell the church even officially states as its beliefs other than the checklist of stereotypical views tbh. I mean, they probably have it somewhere on a website or something, but I'm not that interested in looking. Honestly, kinda makes me sad about the preacher because he's going in for surgery on benign tumor that's causing him to lose vision in an eye. Surgery for anything, especially near the brain, is always going to take someone out of doing stuff for quite a while. Hoping everything goes fine with that. Less of a wtf though, sooo... Yeah.

Maybe you should try being honest about what you think of his expectations, instead of about breaking up? Maybe he'll be able to accept that you is what you is. Thanks, and I think you're right (:  Just because he freaks out when I broach the subject, doesn't mean we can't actually work it out if I'm persistent.  I would like that.

Received a letter from the doctor's office, which they sent during those couple of days where they tried calling me when I was working, and with me calling them when it turned out the doctor wasn't in.

The only real difference between what I was told over the phone and what's in the letter is that the letter suggested I eat more protein and get regular exercise. I started the exercise thing a few weeks ago, but I seriously thought I was getting too much protein already.
