That's not hard to do anyway, just cook some bacon enough to make them done but still soft, stack together, twist, cook a bit more to solidify.

No I haven't done this before what are you talking about.

Things that made you go HUNGRY today

I thought it was minced bacon in sausage casing with fried diced bacon and onions with semi melted cheese and both mustard and ketchup served with a side of bacon and bacon salted fries.
Or was that a wish?

My mother did that, wrapped it in cheese, and deep-fried it.

Maybe not exactly like you, but yes.

I'm just incredibly thirsty and sore. I must have been snoring really loudly while I slept.

Damn dog woke me up too

so daylight savings time is bullshit however you look at it but i was thinking

wouldn't it make more sense for it to work in reverse?

like, if you consider that most people are going to be working or in school or something during the early hours in the day, let's just say that, hypothetically, it gets dark at 6pm, and then dst kicks in and suddenly it's getting dark at 5pm instead

if you work a 9-5 job, suddenly you're stuck fucking inside for all of that and it's dark when you get off work

by 'moving time' down instead, you would give people more free time with the sun out, which means more time to get your vitamin d if you're one of those weirdos who actually seeks out contact with the sun

Yeah, but then you'd be giving people more free time when the sun is up, which is like the exact opposite reason for the time change :V

Whole point of the thing was to better adjust the clock to harvest work, if my memory's working right. Adjusting it so there's more time off during time folks could (more easily) be working kinda' defeats the purpose.

... mind you, I'd be up for it. Just sayin' it'd run counter to the practice's concept.

From memory that's how Australian DST works. When it kicks in it gets dark at 6PM rather than 5PM to give people more time in the sun. I could be wrong though, I don't pay much attention to the time.

harvest work

common myth, farmers don't give two damns or a fuck about the time of day, their schedules are tied to the day directly

dst was invented by a new zealander so he could have more time to catch butterflies

it was first adopted in germany and austria for... reasons

Australian DST

every country observes dst differently, wouldn't be surprised if one or two countries handle it that way

but at the same time, any sort of lack of standardisation just leads to more issues with international scheduling

fun fact: suicides and heart failure rates go up on the monday after the clocks change in spring

Everyone who thinks DST is a good idea should be fed feet-first through a mulcher. Bastards.
DST is pretty much the worst thing about the Southern states of Australia. This is actually rather upsetting to think about- half the damn country is infected with it and thus basically worthless. :-\

anyone who thinks dst is a good idea needs to sit the fuck down and think critically for two fucking seconds about what dst is actually doing

spoilers: it's literally fucking nothing

you can't change the axial tilt of earth

time as we know it is arbitrary and fake and you aren't actually getting any more or less daytime, you're just making everyone's lives harder for a week or two twice a year
