Yeah, I think he simply got lost off the deep end sometime during the mid-90's. Plus, the constant need to up the antee and shove in more guff (like global warming, ancient cult revivals, dem lebruls, creationism, stem cell research and whatnot else) in a time where you can upset yourself to your heart's content, with tailor-made channels within easy reach. I think just the workload in staying a relevant outrage source might have cracked him, in the end.

I think they're supposed to be homosexual dentists, if I remember that tract right. Lord knows how I can recall it, but I think that was it.

Might want to look into the RPG Burrows and Bunnies for inspiration. As the name suggests, it's based on Watership Down and painstakingly informs you how weak and pathetic you are. The average strength of a rabbit is 5. The average strength of a human is 40.

That was indeed my general inspiration, although I don't THINK I have a copy. I'll try and get my hands on one, for maximal bun inspiration.


As for features, I might have to learn DFhack for some things, but it can't be THAT hard to do what I'm thinking of. Some buns would be prophetic buns who tend to be even weaker, but could predict invasions and stuff. And maybe they'd get some alternate animal "domestication", kinda like IndigoFenix's Gnomes? I should make a thread about this.
