Russia doesn't give a shit.

I don't wanna be the one who starts this discussion, but a very large percentage of Ukrainians do speak Russian. This is personal experience talk here: you can get by most anywhere (well, any city) without speaking a word of Ukrainian, and not just because the two languages are kinda similar.
This is, again, not me trying to make it a politics thing, but it is a language facts thing. A lot of people in former Soviet republics speak Russian, especially if they also happen to be Slavs. This is just how it is.

Nowhere did I say that. I merely implied that it is easier to learn it and it was encouraged more then in Slavs. For comparison, Georgians, Abkhaz and Armenians don't speak much Russian, and neither do Central Asians or Baltics. Granted, there's still a high percentage compared to other foreign languages, but nowhere as high as in Ukraine or Belarus.

Soooo depersonalisation is classified as a disorder. I did genuinely think it was one of those weird sensations people get sometimes but do not ever bring up.

Technically, it's a symptom of a disorder, not one in its own right. Since mental disorders are diagnosed based on the number of symptoms, one isolated feeling of depersonalization isn't dissociative identity disorder, just like a short bout of sadness isn't depression.

This is comforting to know.
Although I should probably refer to specialised literature or a specialist if it will become a major concern of mine some day.

That's not true.
'Schizoid' is schizoid personality disorder, 'шизоидное расстройство личности', while 'вялотекущая шизофрения' is 'sluggish schizophrenia', and that's not a scientific term but a misappropriation of medical science. It is, however, sometimes used as a synonym for schizotypal personality disorder, 'шизотипическое расстройство личности', which a real disorder, but not the same one as schizoid personality disorder.

Schizoid and similarly name medical conditions are horrible in English. At one point my psychologist and I were agreeing that I matched most of the DSM-V symptoms for schizoid, then discovered there was an entry for 'near-schizoid personality disorder' or somesuch, which was actually near-schizophrenic and thus completely different. Yeah, fun stuff.

The fun part is, if you're worried about it enough, you might qualify for something even if everything else is fine. Good ol' hypochondria. Though apparently it's called somatic symptom disorder, these days.

Last time was a fair while ago though, not too long after the onset of IBS. I'm also wondering if i have some disorder that has yet to be diagnosed, but to this day, i have yet to find anything. Parents once suspected Aspergers when i was a wee laddie, but now that i've actually met a few people with Aspergers, it doesn't seem that likely. I've suspected everything in between AD(H)D and schizophrenia, where ADD is probably the most likely, but given that i still have periods of fairly intense focus, that also doesn't seem like it fits the bill. Admittedly i need frequent stimulation in order to stay attentive, but i don't think that's atypical. Maybe i just don't have one. :v (muh snowflake)

Basically i think what's wrong with me is that my internal filter has been turned up too high. Even if a waitress has literally said "if you need something to drink just tell me", i'll be reluctant to ask for a drink. Even if people have very explicitly told me to not be afraid of asking, i'll be afraid of asking. Even if everyone knows that i love drawing and i have drawn in their presence before, i'll be nervous about it. It doesn't make any fucking sense. But hey, i guess that describes a lot of things about being human.

Doesn't really have any bad applications other than silly things like that, because when I have to do something social, I do it. Mainly well, too, especially if they're not teenager/young adult age. Everyone older than that seems to love me.
