Volunteered to stay an extra 15 minutes at work because there was just one more rack of clothing to push out, and since my ride doesn't show up for nearly half an hour, I could do it. The person who should have done it left 5 minutes early, and was hardly seen before that, to the point where we had reason to think she left half an hour early, only she was actually taking her sweet-ass time with a previous rack(at least half an hour - they're supposed to take 10 minutes). Probably trying to come back late enough to "justify" leaving early with the idea she didn't have the time to do anything else. And that, just last week, is something the boss has said is a load of crap and to stop doing that.

As I was finishing up, my phone gets a text, and I assume my mom was already there earlier than expected. So I haul ass to finish, clock out, then nearly run out the door. She wasn't there, and I check my phone. Turns out there was an accident on the highway and that she'd be late. -FML

The LR are  nowhere near a depressing or depraved as ITs kiddies.

all of them are purposely flawed, purposely emotionally scarred, and purposely outcasts.

Maybe you could stretch it as a parody or something, but no.  LRs are by and large not the inspiration for the It kiddoes.
