How about anti Brit racism from Poles. I had a Polish tenant. He said he was going to sell his car. I said how much. He replied it's OK I'll sell it to a Polish person.

Man I want to beat Tropico 5 so much but it is such a chore and is riddled with bugs.

What happened to that game? Why is it so many times worse then 4? I mean... I never got all the 4 hate... but the 5th I honestly don't get it when someone likes it.

Doesn't help that I am stuck in the game probably forever due to... well... the campaign not being all that balanced (I have to now take my peaceful island and make it military, a nearly impossible task)

It's actually quite entertaining. I only played 4 for a few hours, so I can't really compare too much...

Best one would be a mix of 1 and 3. Don't know why they tried to make everything funny, especially with the fucking DJs.

Don't know why they tried to make everything funny, especially with the fucking DJs.

It is what I shall dub "Comedification"

They a game that had comedic elements and then in the next installment make it more or completely comedic.

The BEST game as an example of this is Majesty 1 and 2... The first majesty had its tongue and cheek and even had a few comedy missions... Yet it knew when to be serious including one of the GREATEST villain introductions in all videogames. Majesty 2 however can't take itself even remotely seriously and hits you over the face with how funny it is constantly even making the main villain "The Demon of Intellect" a big joke (the joke is... He is the demon of intelligence... but all he really does is hit things).

I found myself trying to defend a game for letting a character fall unconscious for an hour harmlessly... by going "Well maybe he fell asleep immediately after the accident. That is very common"

But then I also remembered that falling asleep immediately after head trauma, especially if you cannot be awakened afterwards, is also a sign of brain damage... and being carried for what was likely over a mile would have woken just about all but the heaviest of sleepers up.

Is there no way fiction can have someone lose consciousness for an hour without breaking plausibility?

Though I will say for this game (Echo Nights 2) the guy sure is antagonistic and very... uncaring to someone who was in a car accident and unconscious for over an hour.

I wouldn't have let that person leave their bed yet alone "Hey feeling better already? Yeah lets go adventuring!"

Subdual damage! Because all lasting forms of damage can be negated by saying "I hit him with the flat of my sword". That  was one of my least favorite D&D systems after I exited that phase of my life.
