I think it would be easier to just walk with it, tis a push lawnmower afterall. I would think the weight of the rider would cause the blades to cut the grass very close to the soil. Though, the wheels there might stop that.

I saw a DnD manual. I looked at a hill giant profile. it had a CR of 7. then I looked at elephants. they had a CR of 8. Elephants are tougher than giants?!?

This may be the lower forums, but they're still the dwarf fortress forums. Do you expect anyone from here to disagree with that manual, knowing how elephants are/used to be in DF? :v

Nope. Giants have hands, which means they can strangle. Preliminary testing had the giant choke the elephant to death in a matter of turns.

The hill giant in D&D is not an especially large creature, it's the smallest giant, degenerated from the other more glorious types of giant. Basically the giant equivalent of a goblin really. It's smaller then an Elephant at least. (well, they are about the same height on average, but the elephant has several times the mass.)

Combat wise they are pretty close, the hill giant is tougher, but the elephant is a lot more deadly with it's tusks and heavy stomps, especially in longer drawn out slug fest where it can make full attacks.

Verbeegs are less threatening than ogres, me thinks :v. But on a serious note now, D&D hill giants aren't a big deal really, the fact that they prob only closely match a single adult elephant only reasserts how inferior they are in relation to other giants

Nah, although they are sorta the designated bad guy giants (once you get past random degenerate monsters like hill) frost and fire giants are only middling to small as far as giants go. The real giants are the storm and cloud giants, who are pretty much to the other giants what other giants are to humans. (although of course there's an absolutely huge number of giants scattered throughout the various splat books, including ones that absolutely dwarf Cloud and Storm giants like mountain giants.)

It'd probably jam from the speed, and going slowly would be more effort than walking.
