Who in their right mind schedules an 8:30am exam on the other side of the damn city!?
If the exam is at 8:30, I should be there no later than 8:00 (we'd go into the exam hall then). Which means I need to be on the train by no later than 6:30 and hope everything matches up, which it generally doesn't, so add another 20-30 minutes on top of that. It's too early for buses at that time, so I'd be cycling through Australian wintry weather at i dunno, 5:30 am and hoping i get a 6am train?

So apperantly one of the major proponents for Guatanamo is that it is a way around the legal system and is one reason why they cannot transfer many of the prisoners to the United States... why?

Because some of them have no evidence of any real wrong doing (and I am going to side on the err of caution and assume they are being detained for no reason) and thus in the United States proper would be released because of... I dunno... a certain law that specifically states that you cannot jail someone indefinitely for a crime they have yet to be convicted of.
