So I looked at videos of cats playing and cats playing with kittens.

While Dogs COULD play in a way that looks violent or adorable.

HOLY COW do cats play like they are trying to kill one another!

Since their play is practicing their hunting skills, that's exactly what is happening.

I really shouldn't complain, but this assignment is kicking my butt.
Still kinda fun and makes me feel smart, but also dumb heh.

frankly, half the problem is that my head's still in "interact with people" mode.  or exhausted, or something.

It's just beyond amazing that work throws this fascinating, high-priority curveball literally as soon as I agreed to babysit at my mom's place in a couple days.  I'm definitely going to be able to untangle this stuff in my head while keeping a 7 year old entertained, yeah.

he said he has been asked for different colors before and i would guess he has been asked for lots of other changes to but no one ever asked for flames around a DRAGON?!

He  just always seems to be overshadowed by his more-popular contemporary, Hitler, with his strange moustache and stylish short shorts. I wonder what Stalin would think about that.

In all fairness Stalin SEEMS to have more convenience when it came with his... more genocidal pass times.

Hence why historians even today can't make up their mind as to what was intentional and what was "convenient".

He has a LOT less black and white "Yes he did it!" that Hitler does. As well Stalin's records were poor.

Stalin was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1945 and 1948

Dear goodness... what? WHAT!?!... HOW THE HECK DID THAT HAPPEN!?! This isn't before the Great Purge the only "100% he did it!" event all historians can agree on.

Edit: Nevermind I found out how this happened. The first time was because... people... kind of overlooked things and considered him a hero who defeated the Nazis.

The second time was because people were afraid of him and wanted to sort of appease themselves to him. (Nobel Peace Prizes! Prestigious... if you forget that it isn't! But still better then the Oscars. Ehh I still like the Nobel Peace Prize, they just need to cut this crud out!)

Well, yeah. You hold off the Nazis practically alone for months or years and people will forgive a lot. But don't make the mistake of thinking that he wasn't a bloody-handed bastard as well.

Remember, he was (among many others) named by Lenin as people who should under no circumstances be allowed to assume leadership after his death.
