Just spent a bus ride across the aisle from two high-school girls discussing their abusive boyfriend(s).
At least, that's what it sounded like they were talking about from what I heard- I was kind of focused on internetting.

One of them definitely said "Oh, he'd never hurt me," followed by a description of the guy going into a jealous rage over something she said/did.
Should probably be glad that my hearing is bad enough that I didn't catch more of the conversation.

It's just a type of image file, the difference is lost on me. Maybe it was easier to program or something.

I just quoted a post from memory.  How did that happen.

Friend of mine insists I inform you that that is an "easter egg", and apparently you totally pulled a Uboa on some door on that level to make it appear so close.
He finds it unusual that you opened and closed the door that many times without knowing about the dope egg fish or whatever.

I just picked the pick-able doors, opened one door with a key, and then came back when a sidequest opened another door. That makes what like, what, ten door-opening actions?

I really wonder what mortals will remember seeing through their Delirium. How can a willfully ignorant mind possibly give that a plausibly non-supernatural explanation?

Why are humans saying 'we should wipe out humanity'
what
Well, we are a pretty noxious pest

what
yoink you don't understand
what you SAID is what I don't get
we're the dominant and most advanced lifeform on earth, and unlike, say, flies, can actually choose to fix our environmental mistakes

To be fair, it is theorised that the earth could still possibly pull back if all humans suddenly and mysteriously died.
Although there are a bunch of species that would inevitably die out if humans were to pull out because of lack of proper territory, lack of food, they might be too docile, or they could simply have too low of a population, bunch of reasons, really.

I'm sure flies are perfectly capable of fixing their environmental mistakes without us.

I shouldn't need to get the swatter to stop them landing on my steak  :-\

Eeeeh. The earth'd resume its normal climate cycle, which means plunging into another ice age. Humans sticking around could 100% avert that, but we need to avoid fucking up in the short term. Which we haven't, so RIP.

Wouldn't it be inevitable that some other creature will evolve and take our place? Surely then we can't really claim moral superiority by destroying ourselves. We'd need to send some message to these future beings.
