I think it happened a few times in Trailer Park Boys?  Of course, they stole large quantities to sell.  And it was a stupid plan, because that's kinda the joke.

What makes it funny is that when i tried to change to win 10 i was pulled through hell.
And as a reward some of my games don't work anymore.

So my office's router was going batshit today. I called the ISP, everything was fine on their end. Checked the modem, the router's internal configs, everything was ok. If I physically connected the modem to the PC, it worked fine, but the wireless network didn't, altough the signal was fine. After a few resets, it still didn't work.

Then I took the router out to this computer shop and maintenance thing across the street and asked them to test the router and see if it worked on their network. It did, so the router wasn't the problem.

Puzzled, I brough it back to the office and plugged it back into the network and hey, it worked, for some reason.

I guess the machine spirit only wanted to go out and see the sun a bit :v

Having worked briefly as tech support for the university tv channel, I can attest that machine spirits are real things. Often we'd try all procedures and stuff wouldn't work. Do something completely unrelated, issue fixes itself. Shrug and go back to idling.
