Who picked the case?

He did.  Though he used some site or another to make sure all parts were compatible.  And they were.   (just a pita to actually fit together)

The DVR was from his old computer, so he understandably forgot to check that for compatibility.   Fortunately external dvd drives are dirt cheap.

It sounds like either he picked a too small a case to really be practical, but still actually big enough, or one thats too focused on looking nice. Mine was fairly simple inside, aside from deciding how to tidy up the cables.

Reading in my US history textbook. Apparently there was a man named Lawrence Eagleburger who served briefly as Secretary of State for President George H W Bush.

Eagleburger is quite possibly the most stereotypically murrican last name I've ever heard. Only thing that could beat it would be something like Freedomland or Freedomburger or Freedomburgerland. If it weren't for the fact that Eagleburger was a real person I'd have thought it was a joke name.

Not bald eagle of course, that would be anti-American.  Maybe like Philippine eagles.  Those are bigger than bald eagles anyway, I think.  More meat on dem bones to make into burger patties.

Actually, you know what, lets just make eagleburgers out of every eagle bigger than the bald eagle.   'Murika needs to be #1.

Eagle would probably be kinda gross. The flesh of predators is purportedly gross in general. I of course have no personal experience.

Although, chicken burgers (as in ground chicken) probably aren't very tasty either. Just think all the blandness of a processed chicken nugget. Birds just don't lend themselves well to grinding. They're meant to be filleted or eaten wholesale.

While NZ politics are fairly idyllic from a left-wing British point of view, iirc, not all governments have the workers interests at heart. Weirdly, dominant political parties tend to be even more corrupt and bureaucratical than unions.
