Was messing with graphical settings in Might and Magic 10 (pondering making an forum LP of it) and noticed that the game has quite a lot of graphical settings... including a pixelating retro filter.
So i did the only sensible thing... by setting everything to minimum and limiting the FPS to glorious cinematic 24 fps so i can record a pointless video of how good the game looks when in full potato mode.

I just watched Meet The Feebles, one of Peter Jackson's early films, with a friend.
It was really great, but also pretty damn messed up. We watched his very first film, too. I also drank a lot of beer and goon and am having trouble typing. >.>

Yoink, go for the Trifecta: get hold of his 1992 horror movie Braindead (aka Dead Alive in the USA release).

I watched that one several months (maybe even a year!) ago, haha. It really is a damn good film!
So old, but still so horrifying. And, as Hector pointed out, brilliantly hilarious. I wouldn't be averse to re-watching it, though.

...Also, I had no idea The Frighteners was a Peter Jackson film. I actually watched it a few years ago.
It wasn't that bad, in my opinion. Not great either, but it had some interesting ideas. Also the fact that at first I thought it was a kids' movie kinda threw me, haha. The spree killer plotline was pretty cool from what I remember, too- and it prompted me to research Charles Starkweather, which was a bonus.
Overall it was certainly nowhere near as bad as those godawful Lord of the Rings movies, ugh. >.>

Why the fuck would you name your child Jihad?

Jihad in Islam has two meanings: the lesser Jihad, when all Muslims (or just loads and loads) are threatened, and everyone takes up arms to defend them (this is more of a state, not an action, and most Muslims believe that the most recent state of Jihad was hundreds of years ago), or the Greater Jihad, which is constant, which is just... being a good Muslim on the inside or something. I don't listen that hard in RE.

Which hilariously means one can go up to Muslims and ask them "how's the jihad going". If one takes pleasure in that sort of smartassery.

But this guy was named after a Christian virtue that got turned into a word synonymous with religious terrorism. Pretty brave of him to keep the name.

Jihad only became a threatening word after he was born, probably.
