Hydrogen peroxide will clear out earwax if you've got a blockage. Makes some nasty runoff when you empty it out if you do, though.

Use a lil rubbing alcohol after to dry any moisture out.

I normally grab some generic earwax cleaner from the chemist every so often. That plus careful use of q-tips keeps ears nice a pristine.

As for the Dark Ones, it's theorized they were created in D6 or somethin, so they are pretty much your regular military experiment. Main books don't stray from reality that much really, the spinoffs (like 40 atm, 3 or so in Glorious Poland) is where shit gets weird. They don't have much weird pre-war, though.

I remember that in one of the spin-offs, it was suggested that the watertight platform doors on one of the lines in the St.Petersburg metro aren't there because of the flooding hazard, but because a distressing number of workers vanished during construction, some being found later as clean-picked bones. That is significantly pre-war. Still a spin-off, though, so YMMV.

I like the idea that a Dark One's screams just make people go insane by hitting the right tone, like a psychopathic brown note, rather than mind-reading-telepathic-psychic stuff. Though again, there is enough mystical bullshit even in the books to prevent you from saying anything is rational. Though there is also enough shitty-science to make you believe nothing is magical.

Aside from some moments, like a psychic Blob luring people to their doom. Or flying, egg-laying tigers. Because fuck physics; blast 'em with radiation!

Hoping Alison Rapp and kin stay safe, and that the trash that's responsible pay for it eventually. These attacks need to stop.

GamerGate is apparently trying to deny culpability this time, and passing it off to whatever community trolls go to when even 4Chan and the bowels of Reddit get tired of them. This shit is absolutely unconscionable, and there's no reason this should be happening. Shitting hell.

One of those conversations between my mom and stepdad, where they seem to think I can't hear them but talk loudly enough that there's no way I can't, one where he tries to claim that a horrible bleach smell that lingers in the bathroom is my fault and not from him bleaching every surface he can touch every time he or I use it; claims that he hasn't done so in the past two weeks, untrue.

TBH my uncle has this weird smell to him whenever he visits 9and he visits often) his assigned room (yes he visits so often we gave him a room of his own) just has al ingering smell we can't get rid of no matter how long we keep the windows open.
It's not sweat or mildew either. Kinda assuming it's something tied to him being diabetic but that's just guessing.

I think it's quite likely, yeah. My sister occasionally also has an odd smell, although not usually so it might be fixable with better hygiene.

Might be ketoacidosis from the diabetes.
