It's because due to the various noises from cars and city in general, birds have adapted to do things like mating calls between midnight and dawn. At least, this is what remember from a biologist's explanation for this I heard earlier this year.

I've upgraded the AI of the paladins a little, and I think I've made them too smart, because they stopped dying even after I've radically reduced strength of their abilities. And I haven't even implemented the learning component yet!

Well Self-employment is going well but now I have three jobs

1) A rush order (as in something I have a single day to produce instead of my usual)
2) A small job
3) My parents want to actually hire me and pay me for my services (which honestly I don't think they actually want to do)

Yet I guess it is all worth it since if I do all three jobs correctly it means... Well no money actually because it all goes into new equipment for my job.

OK, I've just implemented a second AI team of paladins (with some regularly spawned reinforcements on random parts of the map set to attack my base) and put it against mine.

The AI team was kicking my ass for some reason until I've ramped up my numbers to 5x theirs, and even then, when my pallies were all in the enemy base killing their dudes, their reinforcements destroyed mine, because there was no one to defend it.

I think I need to do something about that. Hmm.

I feel it necessary to point out that money re-invested into the business is money, seeing as how that new equipment is going to be used to (presumably) improve either the quality or efficiency of your work. It's money for the future, meng.

Nah, I saw that. I assume there's some kind of broader context involving an engine of some kind, which interests me because AI is a subject of some fascination for me.
