I am reading an amazing book wherein the narrator jumped his Cromwell tank across a 20 foot wide canal. This happened under fire and amid pursuit from German artillery and infantry.

I didn't think a Cromwell (or, for that matter, just about any armored vehicle except something like a Hellcat) could move fast enough to do that.

i do greatly dislike reporters and TV people. they are so clueless and the end results are often cringe worthy. mysterious old men that come out of nowhere to impart wisdom are strangely useful and prevalent though.

I didn't know about it but apparently back in 2014 the project got 2 milion holla holla get dollas in funding from indiegogo.

I think the video showing the project off killed a part of me i will surely miss (once i realize what part of me got killed at least).

I can't decide if I liked it better when it was the Hitler channel and just showed WWII documentaries all day (thereby being actually related to history, if a narrow part of it), or nowadays how it shows Ancient Aliens weekly and I can giggle at Giorgio A.^* Tsoukalos spouting conspiracy theories about how Hitler was Beethoven was Einstein who recruited Jesus who was Hitler who was an alien and caused the dinosaurs to go extinct after creating the dinosaurs to enslave humans so he could kill them later by crashing his home planet into Earth while using the American Civil War as a cover-up.<sup>†
