(Actually a quick look at wikipedia seems to have indicated the old simple machines model is outdated since the industrial revolution, and that there are far more 'simple' machines than originally thought.   Oh well, close enough.)

Watched a documentary in Law today called Hot Coffee. I also saw it in my other Law class a few weeks ago.

Unlike the last class, there was at least one person who felt that a certain company is well within their right to sell coffee so hot it is legally inedible, and that any who are harmed or even die from the heat exposure should have known better.

The teacher tried to call the student out on trying to be funny, or on being a devil's advocate, but he said that he is serious about how the little old lady who needed skin grafts for her third-degree burns was at fault for not carrying around a thermometer to test her food with. Literally, said that people should carry a thermometer to make sure that what people consume is not too hot or cold.

For some reason I can't seem to type on Bay12 this morning. I can open the reply box and everything, but hitting keys doesn't do anything. I tried reloading the page and using the full reply screen, still didn't work. I can type in my other tabs just fine.

I considered including, "This was posted from my phone, obviously," at the bottom of the message, but decided that leaving it out would create more entertaining confusion. And yes, I clicked the message box, and the text cursor showed up as expected.

Also, it's working now. I didn't refresh the page or anything, just went and put my laundry on, then came back and it was fine.
Maybe my laptop just didn't want me procrastinating and ending up at 5PM without having washed my clothes... again.
