Youtube apparently thinks I'd like to see a video of south koreans trying to shotgun a can of beer. I guess because I've been watching starcraft 2 games played by south koreans.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

Next thing you know you'll be adding ~ to the end of various phrases and adding honorifics to names.

I watched one video by Anita Sarkeesian. Now youtube is trying to get me to watch anti-Sarkeesian videos and videos about Tracer's butt (the Overwatch character, who I only know about from the one video introducing Overwatch that I watched aeons ago).

Is there some section in Town of Salem where I can go to play with reasonably intelligent people?

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I thought there was a section for folk who have played a certain number of games. In my experience they were better quality (months ago before Steam, not played since then) but you still got the odd clown.

It was.
Until the majority population had played more than the number of games.

Then the majority population got in.

My country has compulsory service, meaning every male citizen must serve the country for a year either in military or civil service. An important part of the service is to swear an oath of loyalty to the country. As I understand it, it's mostly ignored afterwards, but for someone like me who takes oaths seriously, it seems a bit creepy that most citizens are forced to swear loyalty.

However, those who don't want to "swear in front of the all-powerful, all-knowing God" can swap the first words of the oath to "warrant through my honour and conscience." This makes me WTF, as that second one isn't at all an unbreakable vow: warranting means accepting the consequences of breaking the promise, one can afford to lose their honour, and conscience might be the actual force driving one to break the warrant.

Finland makes its citizens take up an oath, but does so with enough loopholes to make it almost worthless. What's the point of this tradition?
