Huh... maybe I should have seen a doctor about my injured (possibly broken or fractured) toe.
Now it seems to have healed, or at least stopped hurting, but it's... kinda misshapen.   
It's not that big a deal, but I used to have beautiful toes, especially the big one, and now one of them looks like the fuckin' Quasimodo of the Toe World.

Sounds like you broke it but the bone fused back together badly. Now there's probably no way to get that fixed bar breaking it again, if that even works on extremities.

My sympathies, though you should've gone to a doctor about it.

I was rather busy at the time, and seeing a doctor would require mustering up a lot of motivation and fighting down my anxiety, neither of which am I very good at. Yeah, I definitely should have seen a doctor, but oh well. Maybe I'll drop a hammer on it once I'm back home and have more time.

Fakeedit: Well, not so much phobic of doctors themselves exactly, more just public spaces such as waiting rooms.
Especially when they have all the seats facing each other... *shudder*

If you do go see someone about it, I'd recommend not breaking it again - they have equipment for that sort of thing IIRC.

That way I could have a whole laser show whenever I took off my shoes.

What's the point of a toe that shoots lasers though? You'd burn up your footwear and singe your foot every time you fired it.
Now a FINGER that shoots lasers, that would be awesome.

@ Yoink: You're probably gonna have to visit a doctor some day. Either bite the bullet and go in for something relatively minor (or your toe) or suffer even more stress and anxiety for a major problem.

Sandals, siru. Or equivalent. Plenty of footwear that's open toed. Regardless, you'd do toes because they'd never expect it.

More practically, you'd not do toes because anyone that saw it would think it's a voyeur camera, and it's fairly likely even the laser feature wouldn't dissuade folks from throwing you out of public spaces for it.
