What is odd is I could take apart his entire spiel on how women work. Yet instead I am just going to frame what they think of men.

Because when I think of a military unit... I think "Beta male white knights" (Sarcasm)

But in all fairness there is one thing I think he says that people should take to heart

Yes, but that's just my opinion. Mind you, if both sides were actually fighting the good fight (stuff like "women aren't allowed to go to school in third world countries" and not "men make more money than women on average and I refuse to accept that it's because men both take higher paying jobs and ask for raises more frequently than women do", "it's not enough that you fulfill hiring quotas, if your customer base isn't 50% women you are worse than Hitler", "waaaaaah, he raped me with his eyes", etc) then they'd be fine.

No, not valid Neo, there is a simple inescapable reason women should not be conscripted, and it has to do with the most fundamental dimorphism of the human species.  Women are the only part of our species capable of giving birth, in the event of another massive war (and it will eventually happen) no sane government would send it's only means of replenishing its citizens into battle to die.

Now, people don't like this viewpoint, and I am not going to debate it, as it is completely true.  The right of women to vote is absolutely appropriate regardless of all other considerations in light of this fact.

Yes.  Maybe not for combat service, but the military does more than combat.  Public works, aid, drone piloting...

What I find worrying about this line of thought: It's only a teeny tiny step away from 'If we need more citizens, we can just force women into being pregnant.' Nobody ever talked about drafting lesbians, after all.

The part men play in it is significantly shorter than the part the ladies play, though.

Also drafting women might get a bit dicey; there will be instances of "draft dodging" that a woman gets a letter (or whatever happens) and then immediately goes out to try to get pregnant to avoid it.

A man can theoretically have thousands of women carrying his unborn children, while it is uncommon for a woman to carry more than 1 child at a time, and when a man dies his unborn children might live on. No matter how you slice it, the loss of male life will always be less of a hit to the population's breeding potential than the loss of female life unless your gender ratios were extremely skewed to begin with.

I think Russia tried that? At the very least, Germany had state brothels for the soldiers and encouraged women to join them.

Any one of these filled by a woman means an extra man on the field.
