there is no reason that a natural food cannot be grown in places that are so called affected with hunger (laziness is a better term) by people of that area...the people who made golden rice and other GMO's are simply taking advantage of peoples unwillingness to do for themselves which breeds more people who cant do agriculture or cook/prepare food for that matter...those people should be left to their own devices until nature makes them fight for themselves using naturally occurring food...if no food naturally occurs there, then import organic or dont live there as it wasnt meant for you to be there at this time (go back when you have enough resources to live there). no one said we have to occupy every square inch of land in the world. The only reason GMO crops exist is because we got away from local resources which meant massive exports which meant not enough natural food for all the useless eaters that were created from what we have to describe as a anti optimal human culture of consuming and not producing anything. its a downward spiral that started with colonizers with an inferiority complex and now their descendants want the world eating out of their hands only so that they can control adaptation and ultimately evolution. I rather take a natural organic item with no details on the label (nature made this item to be consumed by someone living in nature right now) than a GMO item with no details on the label (the GMO company knows how the item was modified and what can potentially happen to the consumer but the consumer cannot know this on the label)...oh and they are patenting these items because they want the money..if it was about them being humanitarian, they would create the GMO and let it be open source to any who want it. I say let the weak either die or come to their senses and start producing for themselves due to necessity. this will get us back on the track of creating optimal humans rather than people who are born sickly in perpetuity because we dont want to face what we have done to ourselves mentally to allow for us to do more harm physically.

An effect like that would be entirely psychosomatic, i.e. it can only be a thing if one believes the symbolism causes symptoms. The definition is vague ("something you don't like") on purpose so people would start seeing symptoms in themselves and fall to a vicious circle of thinking they're ill which makes them feel more ill. Then they'd feel inclined to buy whatever snake oil is being sold to combat the allergies. As they use it, the symptoms disappear due to the placebo effect as they think they're taking medicine for their condition. Since allergies are hard to cure, they'd have to keep buying the snake oil and keep giving the grifter money to stave of the symptoms they wouldn't have had if they hadn't fallen for it in the first place.

Fun fact: reading this post more than likely immunized you to these so-called allergies (and the snake oils, but they were fakes anyway), if you weren't immune already. Psychopharmacology is a weird field indeed.

Seriously what the HECK is with Websites using advertisements so taxing that it makes them impossible to load, play videos, or what have you?

All the website creators are crying tears complaining that people are using Ad Blockers

WELL BOO FREEKEN WHO! I actually was one of those people who thought you guys deserved money and intentionally gone out of my way not to get add block even if it meant annoying commercials during a video.

Yet slowly but surely I now have to use ad-blockers just to load some websites.
