Just learned what Vaporwave really is today. Went to go listen to the most professional? example of the genre, their big shiny album they put a lot of thought into....and Youtube refuses to play them back to me.

It's like the music is so hipster it refuses to allow itself to be heard other than the first couple tracks. Sorta makes me wonder if it's intentional to get you to buy the album.

A friend of mine pretty much is vaporwave.     
The infection has spread to pretty much my entire household at this point. Whenever we see something vaguely retro it's like "Nice, that's so vaporwave!"
Save yourself. Get out while you still can.

I have very fond memories of Morrowind, but playing again I notice there is something deeply unsettling about the way all of the characters look and move.  Better Bodies and Faces of Vardenfell kinda help, but not much. The way that they instantly turn to face you especially freaked me out, after being used to the very smooth and natural animations of Skyrim.

I think it's because I'm playing on PC and thus sitting much closer to the screen. On the Xbox version, the screen was smaller and farther away, so it was a teeny bit harder to make everything out.

Just need to wait for Skywind to finish. Should be another 15 years.

Though I shouldn't be talking, since I don't think I could get Skywind for XBox 360 anyway.

Why is there no "exchange these two translated phrases by place" button within Google Translate? It very frequently gets the order wrong, while getting all the words right, so it would be very useful to have, yet there isn't any way to do this except by enabling manual rewriting and just copy-pasting them into the right order. Doesn't seem right to me.

A peer asked me today whether I would prefer to live in a perfect communist society, or a perfect dictatorship. After some confusion, I replied that I would prefer the dictatorship on the grounds of efficiency.

He then congratulated me, saying that many people blindly chose communism when asked. When I asked why a perfect communist society would be the wrong choice, he replied that it would destroy people's identity totally and remove the incentive to work.



While he's no genius, I didn't expect even this guy to demonstrate so many levels of completely not getting it.
