I know this is a little late, but...

Would you really assume a dog humping your leg is consenting to sex? I'm going to go with an even grosser hypothetical here, so be prepared, but let's imagine there's a child who is familiar with sex for some horrible reason and is explicitly asking to have sex with you. They're giving you clearer signals of consent than any animal would ever be capable of, but I still think that child's consent is not applicable. Would you agree?

Lack of maturity makes the consent invalid.

Now, the issue with my proposed idea is that it would make all animal reporudction rape, but honestly animal reproduction's pretty fucked up so it's nature's fault.

So I have recently noticed that I have this big habit (more of a quirk at this point) of rambling on to myself in my mind from a 2nd person perspective, constantly explaining to myself why I did X and how doing X will lead to Y and why Y is a good thing.

Even though I already know everything about this and don't need myself explaining it to myself.

I'll also impart my opinions on stuff I do from this perspective and say what I am going to do in this situation, to myself.

I also have this fun habit of repeating the same explanation to myself several times before I move onto something else.

I live in a house with 4 people plus myself, the stuff I'm rambling to myself is typically menial things that really have no importance.

(AKA, the next string of things I'm going to do in this game, or just whatever meaningless course of action I am going to take in anything ever.)

That sounds like what I imagine a raven going through puberty would sound like.

Speaking of alleged harbingers of death, whippoorwill calls have a neat rhythmic pattern... not exactly what I'd call omnious, though.
