To be fair, gadget was a fairly common introduction to the concept of attraction towards anthropomorphic creatures. Maybe not 100% societally normal, but I wouldn't call a crush on gadget exactly weird. It's honestly fairly common for a certain age group.

This is something I felt before only because I was paying attention (not necessarily attention to it, but more 'not bothered and relaxed').

I felt a very subtle...shift, when alone in my room at night and switching my phone into airplane mode before sleeping. It was like a very, very minor feeling or intangible blanket(?) being lifted. This was weeks ago but I didn't think of typing about it until now xD [since only now is also the time wherein I went to give it a token search]. I'm currently wondering if people can feel...err, the waves coming from a receiving/sending communications device because of that. o_O Because I've tried it over several days and it...feels replicable?

More likely it's the release of obligation from possibly receiving any contact or interruptions from said phone. We're used to checking the things regularly and expecting/hoping for something to come up and stimulate us. We're pretty regularly being bombarded from various radio and microwave sources.

It's a subconscious liberation from the phone, that's what you're feeling.

But I don't use my phone for regular texting or calling anyway. Just for keeping contact with my family and friends/instructors for volunteering and helping them with their tasks.
