I think the closest to True Chinese Cuisine I've ever had has been in New York. Chinatown is pretty cool (except for all the "domestic animals being in the food" jokes my family loves). Good restaurants there.

Neither, unfortunately, though I did see a couple of the ponies elsewhere. They were... pretty darn small. Easily short enough for someone to standing-jump over one.

I enjoy reminding people who get too raa viking much warrior so barbarian that this is what the iron age norse rode on.
