No it wasn't! It was all true, like the moon landings being faked, George W planning 9/11 and... other conspiracy theories I can't think of right now.

Though the bit about cis being unable to get their head around some trans things is you know... kinda fair? Just... there are ways that discomfort can be expressed that isn't entirely offensive to trans.

So yeah, basically all of the "translated" quotes could be "I don't really understand trans people", too.

This conversation reminds me of the time when one of my friends came out as gay, and all I  could think was 'duh, tell me something new'

... Which did end up me breaking his trust because I didn't realize it was meant to be a secret, but eh, now I know to ask in situations like this.

It being a simple concept does not mean that it is easy to adopt. Basics are built upon for more complex ideas. How to define yourself and others is pretty fucking integral to function in societies. Changing the nature of this process part way through life and with little personal experience to reinforce it does not simple.

I don't know anything about this conversation; I think I know what trans is, since we have some trans people on this forum, but what does Cis mean in this context?
(I only know it as a currency of magic in a game)

Cis is being the same gender you were assigned. So, I'm a guy. I'm a cis guy cause when I was born I had a penis.
