Speaking of Trump, I am curious to know how you guys feel about this shirt that one of my favourite bands has released.
I don't like it when politics get themselves mixed up in my music (if I wanted that I'd listen to more punk!), but oh well.

gotcha. i saw Cinder bring up Geralt as an example before the skip, and it was clearly an argument then (mostly because folks were talking shit about a community whatever-the-hell-gendered-pronoun-Cinder-prefers seems to be a part of), so continuity seemed possible

Yeah, I brought Geralt up as a point of argument and it turned into a discussion.

Also I guess Geralt really isn't a Mary Sue, bht he's still kind of a superhero, which isn't necessarily a bad thing bht it just shows that The Witcher is escapism.

From what I understand, they're changing the names because they should work on their own rather than being references, which I can find an acceptable reason. Still, I'm pretty one can 'get' "The Dev Team Thinks Of Everything" even if one has never played Nethack, so I don't see what the point of that particular example is.

If you set it to not notify you immediately, this page is basically an improved unread replies. Though  I suppose it would be nice if Toady One was able to put it somewhere more accessible.

I really need to actually use that.  It's sort odd how everyone gravitates towards "unread replies" on this particular forum, I guess the layout encourages it.

Good idea:  Drink tea instead of beer to boost productivity.
Bad idea:  Habitually drink a bunch of it right before bed.  No seriously self, what the fuck was you think XD
Result:  I got 4 hours of sleep but feel suspiciously fine and awake...  If I had used the time better I'd call this a great success.
Hypothesis:  I'm going to crash so hard and suddenly later.  Also I'm feeling 4AM silly, at nearly noon, this is going to be good.
