Goddamnit, I have multiple tabs open containing bands that I want to check out, but it's taking me so long to listen to them.

...I completely forgot what exactly 1000 culture meant in the context of that game specifically. If I remember correctly, though, it means that all the people of the world are listening to your blue jeans and wearing your pop music.

Yep, civ 5. 1000 culture means, despite being in the modern era / 2050ish, you're still getting policies every seven to eight turns.

I won a culture victory in 2080, then proceeded to nuke the hell out of the Ottomans.
