Tried wine for the first time.

I've had 2 wines so far. One was as you described, awful and bitter and fuck you. The other was by the reccomendation of a friend as a more sweet wine. It was far better; like an alcoholic juice. Grape juice. Pretty good actually, even thing I only had a sip or two.

Good god, man. Seventeen just got a DVD release, and I'm still not sure what's more fuckin' weird: that PBS refused to air it in '86 'cause of an interracial couple, or the fact that anything could so perfectly capture the essence of growing up in the Midwest. A shame that it looks like shit was censored and stuff in this version.

Ugh, I have some sort of freezer burn on my finger after carrying a cold bottle of iced coffee back from the shop without a bag.
The second joint of my finger (where the weight of the bottle's handle was resting) is mildly swollen and a bit hard, and there are a few specks of discoloured skin. This is kinda worrying... is it going to shrivel up and fall off or something?

I guess usually when carrying something cold I would switch it from hand to hand every so often, but today I was wearing a baggy jacket that's quite large on me, with the sleeves hanging down over my hands and making such a thing inconvenient. Still, I can't remember experiencing this before. Yuck. Feels very strange.
