Huh I just realized...

One of the major reasons that most games only let you carry two weapons... is likely less that "8 weapons is less realistic"

But because it would force them to make 8 unique weapons that have their own purpose and niche... Instead of about maybe 3 unique weapons with alternate versions.

Last game that really did it well was half-life 2, as far as I can remember. Which makes sense, HL2 did everything fucking well.

There were quite a few others that went under the radar.

Shadow warrior (the new one). (admitedly they didn't have 10 weapons and most people probably used the katana anyway)
Hard Reset (A weird one because you indeed carry 2 weapons but each has 4 or 5 fire modes)

And scrubbing the bottom of the barrel you have... *cough* Duke Nukem Forever *cough*
Yeah you only carry 2 guns but but the game recreates the entire original arsenal so there is a good jnumber of weapons to pick from.
No i didn't say it's a good game.

Did everyone forget friggin Wolfenstein: New Order? There's like, 9 weapons, each with alt-fire modes. And you can dual-wield nearly everything.

You can carry a bunch of weapons in DX:HR too, but there's more weapons than you can fit in your inventory (exactly like the original Deus Ex).

Wtf today: Nike paid a bunch of money to design special uniforms for 8 teams. They're called "color rush" and they are 100% awful. One solid color, with basic uniform designs from the regular uniforms. The Buccaneers, my favorite team, are playing in SOLID red. To make things worse, tonight they're playing the Rams, who are in almost all yellow. It looks like football between ketchup and mustard.

I think the bigger WTF is that the Buccaneers still have fans.

That's how pointers WORK.
Assuming you're not talking primitives like integer or float.

I thought so too for a sec, but no...  Unless there was a typo.
x = y // x now points to same place as y
y = z // y now points to same place as z

One wouldn't expect x and z to point to the same place after that.  I don't understand how that could even happen, though.
