The way I always put it is:

No matter how outlandish a satire/parody is... it is indistinguishable if it is just as outlandish as what it is parodying.

Was it you that coined parody cake? Using the real thing as the parody, or using the parody straight for its literal but unironic purpose?

Parody cake is when a parody intentionally benefits from what it is a parody of.

So like a parody of commercialism by showing commercials... that they got paid for.

It's a college dorm so thankfully no unless some has their family visiting.

I miss last year when my floor was filled with engineers and business majors. Now its full of jocks. I think a basketball team made group arrangements or something. I just-

WHY DO WHITE JOCKS MAKE THOSE GRUNTING AND WHOOPING NOISES. WHY DO THEY GRUNT. IS IT SOME BIZARRE DISPLAY OF IRONY?
