I have two bags of chocolate I bought so my siblings can eat them. For some reason, they're not touching it so its just sitting here unopened. I expected them to just take it to their rooms or open it up and take some of it but for some reason, they just won't.

They're either waiting for permission to take it or me to open it.

I think I'll see how long it'll last before they just take it.

Didnt know where to post it, and it wasnt today it was sept 7 6:20pm to be exact.
I saw a orange orb move slowly in a lightning bolt like line dont know what it waa but there arnt many chinese in my town and it wasnt a civilian transport vehicle because it didnt have regulation lights, nor could it have been a planned military exercise cause our air military has paper planes and arnt in my area on top of that it was in used airspace because after the 5 mins it was moving around for a plane came in to the nearby airport.
It also got brighter at points in its movement and it just faded away.
Very clear and calm night no clouds. First I have ever seen a light like it and I grew up on a farm where you can see stars for lightyears and I know what meteors and such look like having spent hundreds of hours staring out at space.
I dont know but thats my story.
Ball Lightning. Don't worry, it's not aliens, their ships are more green.

Actually I'm kinda curious why Canada was happy to stay a vassal-colony at the time.  Like maybe their trade with Britain was more favorable somehow?

From what I remember, Canada at that time was a mishmash of Loyalists who lost the American Revolution

Goodness that sounds like an American version of the creation of Canada if I ever heard it. "And then the Americans kindly created Canada and single handedly won both World Wars"

Well... On its own at least.

Also don't forget the Metis and the First Nations. We still consider them to be "Part of what would be Canada"

Kinda, yeah. The whole 'We lost the revolution, so we're going to make our own country! With blackjack and hookers!' part certainly fits the bill.

Well this is colonial/pre-20th century Canada we're talking about here. I can't imagine that the grandfathers of the people that implemented the Residency School System would consider the Metis and First Nations as 'Part of what would be Canada'. Even if they helped fight in the war, they weren't exactly welcomed with open arms after it was over.

You are right though, I just don't remember reading much about them. Beyond being convinced to fight with the British and their failed attempt to form their own nation in Ohio/Michigan(?) of course.

DeviantART won't let almost EVERYONE publish deviations.
I only see like a few get published.
Normally, there are THOUSANDS of deviations published every minute, but now it's only like one or two.
I think the DeviantART publishing server broke.

It's as if a million pieces of softcore porn suddenly cried out in alarm and were suddenly erased.

Noticed Urban Giraffe is using on the avatars in my rotation. This clearly cannot stand so I deleted it. Goodbye, frowning soldier.

I also noticed this a while ago (I added it on October 2nd, in case we want to take this to Judge Judy), and was wondering if you would.

I like to think we can share Dynamite DukeTM. In fact, I'd rather everyone have him as their avatar, and my only regret is that he only made up 5.6% of my existence. He deserves better than that. But considering my rotation of random crap that isn't even aesthetically similar, I'd rather lose it than you, so I took it out.

Is there any way to get the pre-Windows 7 version of Paint? I hate the new one.

Looks like MS has the XP version here -- download, stick it in system32, do your own shortcut. S'fairly likely they've got the other versions on their site somewhere, too, but checking the first link google spat out regarding the subject is as much as I can be arsed. No clue if it'll actually work in a win 7 environment, but it might be worth a try.

That one doesn't work on my machine. Tried compatibility mode, also no luck.

I think I have another executable for Paint sitting around somewhere. Not from a Windows site, afaik.

Only works on 32-bit systems. I've got a 64-bit system.

What, is it 16-bit?

Have you tried paint.net?
