"At the expense of everything else" would basically be an orwellian nightmare, but at least men and women equally get their concrete shoebox to live in, their equal daily slops ration, and the entire two state TV channels (TV channel two would constantly broadcast alternating speeches by the joint male and female presidents. TV channel one would play constant re-runs of gender-neutral versions of old gameshows such as The Price is Right).

I've gotten to the point of progression in martial arts where I can get the wind knocked out of me by a perfect roundhouse to the solar plexus and marvel at the form of it even as I struggle to breathe, so yeah kinda.

I should finish the Dark Tower. I wasn't able to buy the books for the entire series and I forgot to buy Song of Susannah for ages now. I recall getting sidetracked by A Song of Ice and Fire.

Song of Susannah was terrible, and The Dark Tower (the final book, not the series) was fairly disappointing overall (though considerably better).

Finally got Windows 7 installed, at the cost of only 3 hours sleep.

Then I had to install the shitty drivers from the disc that came with the motherboard. Which felt like involuntarily restarting after every single one.

EDIT: And now my mother just walked into my room and declared she was taking me for a haircut when she gets home from work. Saying it as though I have no right to determine what I look like.
