Assume the same holds for all of those shirts printed in languages you can't read. I've got a shirt t'was a gift from an aunt who lived in Thailand for a while, supposedly it's a sorta-artsy sequence of the numbers 1-10, but for all I know it says "Fuck Off is like chicken dessert is fuck," and she's having a laugh whenever my back is turned.

My music theory teacher came in today wearing a T-shirt with writing printed on it. He has no idea what it means or what language it is, but hopes it isn't anything vulgar. Can anyone here read this?

As well as a person who doesn't know the language can discern, that's in Khmer, in the Āksār mul (i.e., rounded) script style.

Google translate does support khmer, so assuming someone can figure out which character is which it's a simple matter of punching it in and trying to see what it says.

Already tried that. The problem lies in trying to solve which of those lines are straight and which of the curves are supposed to be there. And I have no idea what that g-like subscript character is supposed to be.

isn't google making some sort of image translation thing?

I know the phone app can do it on the fly (as in you point the phone at a sign and it translates it), but I don't think that it supports all of the languages that normal google translate does yet.
