I'd politely ask you to back up that statement.

Actually on that subject I watched an anime that was about a peaceful world devoid of all wars once Religion was abolished for good.

And this was obtained through the very peaceful actions of murdering every religious person left, killing anyone who agreed differently, and even murdering anyone who remembered a religion.

Yet what actually instigated all this? One person who used religion as a way to amass power and wealth who didn't follow the tenants of his own religion.

It is almost like there is a satire in there... Too bad the anime sucks.

The only reason I posted it at all, is because I think the joke is interesting from a geopolitical context in the "religion is inherently evil" aspect.

Don't make the mistake of judging an entire group by the loudest members. The reasons they're usually loud are because nobody IN their group will listen to the dumb crap they're spewing.
