Women typically have more body fat than men (boobs, for one), and though the fat helps keep the heat in, it isn’t great at generating heat – unlike muscle, which men generally have more of.

Speaking of temperatures... Today is October 23rd here. The sun was out all day, bright and clear. Temperatures outside were in the high 70s. The garden and rosebushes are flowering, and the trees are full of singing birds. A neighbor was sunbathing on their lawn. I live at about 37° N in North America.

Yeah, the AC units in my dorm room in China were terrifying. Could drop the room from 98F to about 60F in just a couple of minutes. I figured I was probably opening a hole in the ozone layer every time I turned it on.
