In my (admittedly brief and long-ago) experience, dating sites are a waste of time and money. Especially if you aren't actually interested in dating in the first place.

I knew a kid who would hit that site. He repeatedly referred to his mom as hot. Also persuaded me and my bro into a lot of trouble. With the cops, among others.

It's harsh, but I can confirm. My social life basically died when I quit my job and went back to school, since there was a lot of intersection between "list of itisnotlogical's coworkers" and "list of itisnotlogical's friends".
