I'm at the laundromat. There's a fire extinguisher next to me. The case it's in is damaged, so they taped it up pretty heavily. I can only assume that this would make it harder to retrieve the extinguisher in case of a fire.

Went to sleep at 2 in the morning with the help of painkiller (shoulder pain) and yet I woke up at 6 am bright and ready to go. I mean I am a morning person but I've had problems with the inhumanly small amount of sleep I've been getting lately.

It's a lot like cooking with far fewer acceptable results.

Though more pertinently in my experience people who specialize in microscopy tend to be very into what they're doing, and very eager to share intricacies, often very practically oriented and narrowly applicable ones. I suppose it comes with the territory of being a specialist outlier. Well, in biology at least. Gotta lord your specialized knowledge over the veritable legions of protein extraction and electrophoresis people, you know.
