If I am going to take a dig on any song it is going to be "A bit of a fixer upper" which is the WORST song in the movie and quite abhorant. Especially with its "saving throw line".

That's literally the reason I don't watch movies.

It's because >95% of all of our national lawmakers fall into either the "elderly" or "aging" categories. Right now only 7% of the House of Representatives and 1% of Senators are under the age of 40, despite the fact that currently some 45% of eligible voters are under the age of 40 at the moment (and 59% of the total population is under the age of 40).

That's actually not unreasonable. You have to be 25 to get into the House and 30 for the Senate, and pretty much every national-level politician already has an established career, either in politics, law, or occasionally something else.

Which brings up another point. We need a constitutional amendment to lower the minimum ages for these jobs. If nexessary maybe also set a maximum age. That way we'd have fewer politicians who are completely put of the loop as well as fewer politicians with established careers in politics or law. We also need term limits for everything and, while we're at it, to get rid of the natural born citizen clause (although there should be a minimum number of years of citizenship; maybe just not count years prior to gaining citizenship towards the new lower minimum age)

It's a pretty good book tho. The book is also goddamn hilarious (if you enjoy dark comedy (which I do)), but having not seen the movie yet I don't know how much of it got on-screen (don't tell me (I'm using too many parenthesis)).

If it's a good movie and you have the free time for it, the time investment can easily be worth it. And everything I've heard of Fury Road makes me say you should totally WITNESS IT. I personally haven't WITNESSED IT yet but I'd probably watch it if given the opportunity.

Seriously though, see the movie. I'm not that into movies and I still feel like I must recommend it.

Just don't go in expecting some deep drama. It's great entertainment, but incredibly shallow.
