I just realized its morning, not night, I'm so confused right now, earlier around eight I thought huh, it shouldn't be this bright, then I look again around nine and realize it got brighter, I then looked at the clock and at that point I realized it was 9 am. I was so very, very confused.

I thought the people in the life advice suggestion were just weirdo christians when they said to read the book of ecclesiates for everything.

Wikipedia seems to be telling me they're dicks. Or just rather odd advisors.

Maybe? Ecclesiastes is probably one of the more down to earth bits of biblical text, and somewhat more applicable to folks having troubles than much of the rest of the texts. Maybe not good advice as a general thing, but there's definitely worse advice to give.

I'd probably say just read the thing and judge for yourself rather than going by wikipedia, though. It's pretty short, would only take a few minutes to skim over it.

There are some very short books of the Bible, especially the Epistles. Ecclesiastes is just about short story length.

Ecclesiastes is a fascinating book. It's basically Solomon having a mid-life crisis and an angsty teenager phase at the same time.
